THE BODY - Understanding its Ins and Outs
You are going to hear a lot of “best ways” and “best methods” to achieve the body you desire.
In reality, most of these methods have ulterior motives, intending to sound sexy and grab your attention. Your “results” are actually the clicks and likes these people’s methods promote, buying their products, and helping them gain advertising revenue. It doesn’t sound like the results you wanted, does it?
Our “method” is much simpler and straightforward, though I wouldn’t even call it a method, it’s a lifestyle. And it starts with answering two simple questions…
Is your routine sustainable?
Can you continue this for the rest of your life? We are teaching lifestyle changes not fads. Are you going to meal prep the rest of your life? Lift 5x a week forever? If the answer us no, we don’t promote it! We are not interested in 30 day challenges and fad diets.
Note: This question also includes safety in the gym because if it ain't safe, it won't be sustainable.
Is it progressive?
Are you continuing to improve? Are you increasing your weight and reps for your exercise? Raising your protein targets?
Your health and fitness routine may be sustainable, but in order to see changes in your body, you need to push yourself out of your comfort zone a little. We are here to help you find that balance of discomfort and sustainability.
At the end of the day, it seems many trainers give advice motivated by their own self interest. Words like “breakthrough” and “hack” should always raise a red flag because the magic these words promise is really just in the work you are avoiding.
