I am a National Academy of Sports and Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, and founder of Beyond Fatigue Fitness LLC, in Orlando, Florida. I teach and train clients of all age and experience on fat loss, muscle building/toning, functional fitness, and muscle pliability. As with this dynamic and ever changing industry it can sometimes be difficult to have the answers to the best way to achieve your optimum fitness level, but I can assure you that my knowledge is based off of a decade of experience, research, and trial-and-error. Many people want to get into better shape, but often lack the knowledge and motivation to achieve their goals, and that is where I come in as a personal trainer. I believe health and fitness are important for enhancing your life, not hindering it, if you want to do more than just exist. You will get the best results when your trainer is enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and truly wants to serve your needs, all qualities I possess.
My fitness journey began in Mechanicsburg, PA (population 9,000) where I started playing sports from the time I could walk. So while cardiovascular training was not foreign to me (especially as a high-school soccer mid-fielder), weight training was. I just assumed that the way your body looked was how it would stay, just with more wrinkles later in life. For me, that look was a 5’ 9” 130 lb human. In my school, weight training was something only wrestlers and football players really utilized. And since I was neither, it didn’t make the list of things I needed to do in life. It was not until I befriended some guys on the wrestling and football teams that I decided to give weightlifting a try. Whether it's the first day lifting a weight, or years down the road, we all have that "ah-ha" moment that changes our perspective entirely about our health and fitness. For some, it's a doctors visit informing you of limited time on your life, for others, it's what you see in the mirror. Mine happened in the mirror. I’ll never forget the day I got out of the shower, a few weeks of this "lifting" under my belt, looked in the mirror, and saw muscles laying on my once flat chest! From that point on, I was hooked! Lifting became my stress relief from school, helped me fit in in college, and gave me confidence. I also want that for you, for everybody.
My hunger to learn, practice, perfect, and teach emanated from my passion for fitness. It started out as nothing more than a serious hobby for me, something I never even consider as a profession. But now, after a handful of unfulfilling jobs, with an inapplicable major in college (well, I did learn a bit about human anatomy because of it), my career is, and always will be, in health and fitness. I am the guy that always wants to know everything about a topic, strives for perfection, and this website provides you with everything I’ve learned on the topic of health and fitness. I hope it inspires you and empowers you to live a healthy lifestyle, because there is no greater reward we can give ourselves than good health.
